2014 Hosted Fly Fishing Adventures

Join us in 2014 for some awesome saltwater and freshwater flyfishing!  All saltwater trips are scheduled at a great time to get out of the cold northeast winter, and all offer great fishing, food and accommodations, and spectacular scenery.  Remember, booking your trip with us doesn't cost any more than booking directly with the lodges.  Plus, you'll receive the added advantage of having a trip host on your adventure, who is there to make sure that your trip is enjoyable and hassle-free. Your trip host will be available to help with any tackle questions or problems that arise, as well as offering any guidance or advice on fishing techniques. We will have extra gear in the event of equipment failure or breakage. Extra leaders, tippet and flies will be available too. If you need help booking your flight and making travel arrangements, we can help. Our goal is for all of our guests to have the adventure of a lifetime!

Spring 2014

Friday April 18
The smaller and medium Lake Erie tribs are fishable, however the Catt is still a bit too high, but might be ready in a couple days!  Look for flow below 600 cfs for productive fly fishing.  Steelhead are around, as well as plenty of suckers.  No reports of Bass yet.

April Vokey Spey Casting & Tying Camp

On June 11-12 we are hosting Fly Gal April Vokey at our cabins on Cattaraugus creek!

This is a unique opportunity as April is an excellent tyer and Spey instructor, and does not get out east too often.  The full day Spey casting class is limited to 6 guests, while the 3-4 hour fly tying session can handle up to 8.   Both are led by April Vokey. This camp will also include 2 nights lodging at our cabins, lunch on the 12th, and most likely a cookout the evening of the 12th.

Cost:   $495/person includes fly tying class (3-4 hours), skagit casting class (6-8 hours)
2 nights lodging at Zoar Valley Escape on Cattaraugus creek, lunch on June 12, cookout the evening of the 12th.
